Being in the Military, Jade and I are somewhat used to having things happen quickly and with little notice. But when we found out the beginning of May that we were being posted to Trenton mid June, and following that I would have to leave for training in the US at the end of june, we were quite apprehensive to say the least! That left us six weeks to get everything organized, SIX WEEKS! We didn't think it could be done! Then we met Debra Tosh.

A perfect simple week!
Having a military client who only has 5 days to select a new home, and who is a first time home buyer at the same time can present quite a challenge for a real estate agent. However, let me tell you, Debra couldn’t have been better for this job. She started by showing me a great number of really interesting houses in the first three days. And by the end of the third day, I was ready to make the offer.
I was more than satisfied to have had the opportunity to work with her at that time, but her help for me was far from ending there. Having bought a new house still in construction, I had to make all the choices associated with it in two short days (floors, colours, bathroom, lighting, cabinets, appliances, etc, and etc, and etc.). I was completely lost. However, she offered her help on every step I had to go through and she did far more than I could have ever expected. With so many real estate agents and brokers in the Quinte West - Belleville area, it was hard to know where to start. I asked people who recently moved to the area if they had a positive experience with their real estate agents, but, most just said that their agents were ok. So I did some research. Oh my gosh, Debra is AMAZING!!! My husband is in

My husband and I had a tough assignment for our

unseen, from long distance (we're currently in B.C.). The home had

Debra Tosh and was I ever glad that I did. She came over and did
a complete market evaluation for me and suggested a listing and

and it included homes that had sold, were still for sale and even
ones that hadn't sold and the listing had expired. It was a really
big job to get the house ready to put on the market and I was in

her second semester in January in Belleville. The added stress to
the situation was that we had been moved from Thunder Bay to Sudbury
only 18 months prior meaning this would be our teenage daughter's
third high school.
Debra Tosh was recommended to us as a real estate
agent for Re/Max. We contacted Debra and for a couple of weeks we
corresponded by phone and email. Debra advised us to start by researching
the homes available on the local Re/Max website. Then we made a
arrangements to stay in Belleville in mid December to find and make
an offer on a home.
Needless to say, it is a challenge to find homes
listed for sale two weeks before Christmas. Debra was extremely
diligent in lining up homes for us to view, with teenage daughter
in tow. She devoted the whole week to us and ensured that we became
familiar with the area so that we could make the best decision for
our family. Debra was very astute at quickly determining what features
and benefits of homes would meet our needs. What pleased us most
was that Debra did not waste our time on looking at homes that we
would not be interested in. It was a stressful time for our family
and Debra's cheerfulness, eagerness and humour relaxed us all.
By the middle of the week we were frustrated at
not finding a home that we all agreed would meet our needs no fault
to Debra, but rather to the time of year we were searching. Debra
found out that a house that would be perfect for us had a previous
offer that fell through. She ensured that we got to view the home
immediately and we were able to make a timely offer.
We were so happy to end up with a home we wanted
in a great neighbourhood. Debra spent a lot of time running around
for us before the final closing as we had to go back to Sudbury
until the move. We trusted Debra so much by that point we asked
her if she would do the final inspection on our behalf. Debra is
a professional agent who knows her stuff, can read people and their
needs well, and can make a stressful time a fun adventure for a
